First discovered in Herkimer County in New York State, Herkimer Diamonds are not actually diamonds, but a beautiful form of clear quartz. They are quite unusual because they are naturally double-terminated, meaning they have 16 sides. This unique structure creates what is often referred to as the “laser effect”, believed to increase focus and clarity.

Naturally double-terminated, they catch the light beautifully and are traditionally associated with clarity, energy and healing.

Each Roccabella piece is made using natural Herkimer Diamond quartz, creating jewellery with organic texture, individual detail and a luminous, crystal-like finish.
