Emerald - love and intuition
Emeralds have been used in jewellery since ancient times, Cleopatra loved emeralds and some of her jewellery still exists today. Most modern emeralds come from Columbia and increasingly Brasil where our emeralds come from. The Incas loved the emerald using them for adornment and for religious ceremonies. The emerald is associated with the eye and is believed to enhance the inner vision and the ability to see the truth. It is also associated with success and lasting love.
