Round Moonstone Earrings

A pair of round Moonstone earrings are approximately 1cm each. All our earring hooks are gold-fill or sterling silver.

Our earrings are made with natural raw gemstones using the specialised technique of electroforming where we grow a thick layer of pure copper to set the stones, we then finish in a heavy layer of 22ct gold or pure silver.
This means they are unique and will have variations in texture, colour, size and shape. Though we aim to select your gemstones similar to the one pictured, you will not be purchasing the exact one photographed .

All Roccabella jewellery is nickel free and where possible we use reclaimed metals. Our gemstones are carefully sourced from our long term trusted suppliers around the world who we visit on a regular basis.

Rainbow Moonstone - love and joy

Rainbow moonstone is associated with the moon and Luna goddesses in many cultures. In Hindu culture it is said that Ganesh had a moonstone embedded in the centre of her forehead and it was believed to be made out of moonbeams due to its iridescent lustre. Moonstone was thought to be the frozen tears of a moon goddess after she fought with her lover which led many to believe it helps people to reconcile after conflict. It is considered to bring love and joy into peoples lives.

How to take care of your Roccabella jewellery

Our jewellery is electroformed in copper and finished in a heavy plate (around 3 microns) of pure silver or 24 carat gold.

To keep our jewellery looking its best, we recommend you don’t sleep or shower in it and take your jewellery off when you are doing activities that could scratch your jewellery e.g. going to the gym, doing heavy-duty housework, DIY. We suggest you keep it in your box when not in use.
